Elsa was the first hurricane to strike the East Coast for 2021. NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center is predicting another above-normal Atlantic hurricane season. Forecasters predict a 60% chance of an above-normal season; however, experts do not anticipate the historic level of storm activity seen in 2020.

When an active hurricane season is predicted, NASP wants to help you prepare your business for a storm and cope with the aftermath and clean up. As all safety and environmental professionals know, being prepared is essential to minimizing storm exposures and ensuring your business can be back up and running as soon as possible.

Use this checklist to evaluate your preparedness and help ensure you and your business is ready for an emergency before it happens.
