HAZWOPER
OSHA mandates annual refresher training for all HAZWOPER-trained workers. Under 29 CFR 1910.120, employees must complete 8 hours of refresher training each year to maintain compliance. Your refresher must be completed within 12 months of your previous training's completion date. NASP's HAZWOPER online training courses make annual renewal convenient and flexible.
Your HAZWOPER certificate is valid for 12 months from completion. This 12-month window is your anniversary date for annual 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher training. Allowing your certificate to lapse may require you to retake supplementary or full training. Complete your refresher before your anniversary date to maintain uninterrupted compliance.
