Welcome our New Director of Operations!

Newly hired Director of Operations at NASP, Yafet Bekele, comes to the organization with 20+ years of senior-level leadership experience working in the EHS industry.  His most recent work experience includes working in collaboration with other specialists in Water and Wastewater public entities.  His bachelor’s degree was in biochemistry, and he holds a Doctor of Chiropractic. Amongst other responsibilities, he has spent years developing programs for organizations assisting in ergonomic consultation and program design, workplace injury prevention, and reduction of repeated offense strategies, as well as being invited to be a keynote speaker on various platforms for many private organizations domestic and abroad.

His passions and contribution to the assessment, education and prevention of ongoing workplace injuries has gained him respect amongst audiences for him to address these costly, preventable exposures. He also brings years of C-suite administration and management skills that will enhance our operational efforts and promote robust growth at NASP in the coming months and years.  He will continue to promote his passion for safety as he tenures with us at our headquarters.
