Contest - "Tag a Safety Pro"
The National Association of Safety Professionals (NASP) is hosting a LinkedIn giveaway contest to celebrate our growing safety community. One lucky winner will receive a free online Certified Safety Manager (CSM) course, valued at $1995.
The contest is open to LinkedIn users who follow the steps outlined below. No purchase necessary to enter or win.
How to Enter
To participate:
- Follow the official National Association of Safety Professionals LinkedIn page.
- Like the contest post.
- Tag a colleague or safety professional in the comments who would benefit from NASP’s training. Each tag counts as one entry.
- Only one tagged person per comment counts as a valid entry.
- You may comment multiple times to tag additional people, but each tag must be in a separate comment.
Optional: Share the post to help others discover the contest (not required for entry but appreciated!).
Eligibility
Open to individuals aged 18 or older with a valid LinkedIn account.
Employees, contractors, and affiliates of NASP are not eligible to win.
Void where prohibited by law.

Prize
Grand Prize
One (1) free enrollment in NASP’s Online Certified Safety Manager (CSM) course.
Bonus
The tagged colleague from the winning comment will receive a 50% discount code toward the same course.
Prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash.
Winner Selection
- After the contest period ends, NASP will collect all eligible comments.
- A random drawing will be held from qualifying entries.
- NASP will verify that the winner and the tagged colleague both follow NASP’s LinkedIn page before confirming eligibility.
- The winner will be announced via a LinkedIn post and contacted directly through LinkedIn messaging within 7 days of the contest closing date.
- If the winner does not respond within 5 business days, a new winner may be selected.
Verification and Tracking
To ensure fairness:
- Each tag will be logged using LinkedIn comment exports.
- Duplicate tags of the same individual will count only once.
- Ineligible or spam comments (e.g., tags of company pages or bots) will be disqualified.
General Conditions
- This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with LinkedIn.
- By entering, participants release LinkedIn and NASP from any liability related to this contest.
- NASP reserves the right to disqualify entries that violate LinkedIn’s community standards or appear fraudulent.
- NASP may use participants’ names and LinkedIn handles in promotional materials announcing the winner.
