Tired of doing online safety training? Let’s face it; not ALL safety training can be done online. NASP is proud to announce our upcoming IACET-accredited HAZWOPER Train-the-Trainer and Confined Space Rescue Train-the-Trainer courses coming up near our headquarters in Wilmington, NC.

CONFINED SPACE RESCUE TRAIN-THE-TRAINER COURSE

The 40 Hour Confined Space Entry & Rescue – Train-the-Trainer classroom course is now on our live calendar for November 15-19, 2021. This intense five-day course will feature tons of practical rescue scenarios inside the Battleship USS North Carolina. The first day and a half of class will be a review of the standard, but the following three and a half days will be all rescue with a final exam and student presentations on the last day of class. This is going to be highly hands-on so be ready to break a sweat.

HAZWOPER TRAIN-THE-TRAINER COURSE

Our HAZWOPER Train-the-Trainer Course on October 25-29, 2021, will cover in detail the regulatory and training requirements of the Hazardous Waste Operation and Emergency Response (29 CFR 1910.120) standard. OSHA states that a measure of the competence of an instructor is the successful completion of a train-the-trainer program with training and experience specific to the topics they will teach. Not only does the course review the various elements of the HAZWOPER standard, but there are also demonstrations as well as “hands-on” practical simulations to meet the experiential requirements of the regulation.
