Welding, Cutting and Brazing Safety Technician (WST) Independent Study
Graduates are Certified as a "Welding, Cutting and Brazing Safety Technician"
This course will teach you how to recognize and abate the wide variety of hazards associated with welding, cutting, and brazing. It covers safe work practices and regulatory and standard requirements from OSHA, DOT, ANSI and the Compressed Gas Association. You will learn the hazards of compressed gases, gas cylinders, the health hazards of welding, cutting, and brazing and and the other hazards associated with this type of work.

There is an exam that can be faxed or e-mailed to NASP for grading. The estimated time required to complete the course is 20 hours, but can be done at the student's own pace. Students will be given six months from time of purchase to complete the course.
Two (2) CEUs are offered through the University of North Carolina at Wilmington for this course.
