Certification:
IASP/NASP Validation of Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Course Objectives:
The HAZWOPER Validation Course in independent study format provides an understanding of the requirements of the HAZWOPER Standard and how to meet those requirements. The course can be downloaded from our website or ordered on CD. Graduates receive a Certificate of Validation from the IASP or NASP. Graduates may also use this course in meeting the requirements for other IASP/NASP Certifications.
Learning Outcome:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to identify covered employees, understand the general requirements, describe the elements of an emergency response plan, and identify training requirements of emergency response personnel.
Optional Credits:
One (1) CEU is offered through the University of North Carolina at Wilmington for this course. Recertification:
