Steel Erection Safety Technician (TSE) Independent Study
Graduates are Certified as a "Steel Erection Safety Technician"
Steel erection presents many hazards to the employees on the worksite, a number of which are unique to steel erection. Because the inherent hazards, steel erection is heavily regulated by OSHA. Those regulations have been changed and therefore require a fresh understanding. This course will teach you the regulatory requirements and safe work practices for steel erection. It covers all types of steel erection.

There is an exam that can be faxed or e-mailed to NASP for grading. The estimated time required to complete the course is 20 hours, but can be done at the student's own pace. Students will be given six months from time of purchase to complete the course.
Two (2) CEUs are offered through the University of North Carolina at Wilmington for this course.
