Safety Manager/Trainer Certification Course

This intensive 40 hour course will provide you with a clear and concise explanation of your responsibilities concerning employee safety and the relative OSHA Standards. You will learn about safety from the perspectives of:

• Regulatory Compliance
• The "Business of Safety" (monetary impact of accidents)
• Humanitarian Concern, Ethics

*If you choose to take the independent study version of this class, your exam will need to be proctored. Proctor forms that IASP and NASP require you to fill out are available for download in .doc format for Microsoft Word or in .pdf format for Adobe Acrobat Reader.

You will also learn the latest techniques in adult instruction for a dynamic and interactive approach to safety training, methods to save money on OSHA compliance, and how to avoid civil and criminal liability. Graduates of this course qualify for the Certified Safety Training Specialist (STS) and the Certified Safety Planning Specialist (SPS) Certifications. The STS is authorized to issue NASP diplomas and cards.

The fee for STS and SPS certification is $1295.00. The STS is authorized to issue NASP diplomas and cards. The Safety Manager/Trainer Certification Course also provides the basis from which to advance to the Certified Safety Manager (CSM), Certified Safety Administrator (CSA), Master Safety Administrator (MSA) and Licensed Safety Professional (LSP).

All STS students are eligible for a $200.00 discount for General Industry Multimedia Training Kits covering the 20 Most Common Safety Topics, or a $200 discount for our HAZWOPER Multimedia Training Kit. That's just $95.00 for either kit.

As a special bonus, students in this course also receive: Eight (8) free training videos for use in training their employees (a $900.00 value) and a Comprehensive Electronic Safety Library on CD (a $195.00 value). Both are available in all versions of the course, but we strongly recommended that students choosing to download their materials have a broadband connection for fast download of training videos.
