Certified Petroleum Safety Administrator (PSA) - Refineries, Plants, & Petroleum Storage Safety

Course Objectives:


The NASP Certification Petroleum Safety Administrator – Refineries, Plants, and Storage Facilities Safety indicates a high level of proficiency and is one of the highest levels of certification offered by NASP. This certification is an indication of a level of proficiency expected of a safety professional who is capable of developing and managing a comprehensive facility wide corporate safety program for petroleum refineries, petrochemical plants, and storage facilities. Process Safety Management, Job Hazard Analysis, and Regulatory Compliance Programs are the core components of this administrator's standard operating procedures for this complex and diverse industry.

 

Course Prerequisites :


The following courses are pre-requisites of this program:
Certified Petroleum Safety Specialist (PSS) –Refineries, Plants, & Petroleum Storage Safety
Certified Petroleum Safety Manager (PSM) - Refineries, Plants, & Petroleum Storage Safety

Online Exams :


The student will take a comprehensive online exam at the end of the course.  You must score 80% to receive certification.  You have three opportunities to pass the exam.

Optional Credits:


The estimated time required to complete the course is 40 hours, but can be done at the student's own pace. Four (4) CEUs are offered through the University of North Carolina at Wilmington for this course. Recertification:
