General Health and Recordkeeping Specialist (HRS) Independent Study
Graduates are Certified by IASP or NASP as a "General Health and Recordkeeping Specialist"
This course will teach you how to meet the OSHA Requirements for Injury and Illness Recording and Reporting. You will also learn a variety of health related requirements and safe work practices such as: Hearing Conservation, First Aid and Medical Services, Housekeeping, Illumination, Sanitation, Employee Emergency Action Plans, Alarm Systems, Thermal Conditions in the Workplace, Medical Screening and Surveillance, Employee Access to Medical Records, and Automated External Defibrillators.

There is an exam that can be faxed or e-mailed to NASP for grading. The estimated time required to complete the course is 24 hours, but can be done at the student's own pace. Students will be given six months from time of purchase to complete the course.
