Refresher Training Requirements for IASP/NASP Certifications

All IASP and NASP Certifications require refresher training once every three years.

When you refresh for SAC, CSM, CSA, or MSA; the recertification for all of the courses required for that Certification is included.

The Advanced Safety Manager Course can serve as a refresher for all of the above certifications.

There are two additional means of recertification:

You may challenge the recertification exam. You must make a score of 80% in order to proceed to achieve recertification. If you score 80% or higher, you must then provide an explanation that you do understand the correct answer for each question you missed. In effect, you then score 100%. If on your first try you score below 80%, you may retake the exam within one month. If you fail to score 80% on your second attempt, you must retake the course in order to maintain your certification.
You may retake the course.

All exams are open book, and can be emailed or faxed back with the answers to be received.
