Certification:
Certified Petroleum Safety Administrator (PSA) - Pipeline Safety
Course Objectives:
The NASP Certification Petroleum Safety Administrator – Pipeline Safety indicates a high level of proficiency and is one of the highest levels of certification offered by NASP. This certification is an indication of a level of proficiency expected of a safety professional who is capable of developing and managing a comprehensive facility wide or corporate safety program for petroleum pipeline construction, operation, and maintenance through the facility lifecycle and closeout decommissioning.
Course Prerequisites :
The following courses are pre-requisites of this program:
Certified Petroleum Safety Specialist (PSS) – Pipeline Safety
Certified Petroleum Safety Manager (PSM) - Pipeline Safety
Online Exams :
The student will take a comprehensive online exam at the end of the course. You must score 80% to receive certification. You have three opportunities to pass the exam.
Optional Credits:
The estimated time required to complete the course is 40 hours, but can be done at the student's own pace. Four (4) CEUs are offered through the University of North Carolina at Wilmington for this course. Recertification:
All NASP certifications require refresher training once every three years. The certifications should be refreshed before their expiration date. Click here for more details.
