NASP Certificates, Diplomas and Pocket Cards
Your credibility as a trainer is clearly established with both your students and their employer. NASP certified Safety Training Specialists (STS) are authorized to issue NASP certificates, diplomas and pocket cards to their students for any course in which they hold NASP certification or approval except the Safety Manager/Trainer Course. All topics covered in the Safety Manager/Trainer Course are approved for this purpose as well as all NASP Independent Study Courses.
Issuing a certificate, diploma and/or pocket card with the NASP logo and the heading "National Association of Safety Professionals" along with your signature and certification number provides a high level of credibility to your courses. Having NASP enter all of your students’ information in our database ensures verification at any time by anyone. As an NASP certified trainer you bring a new and important dimension to your safety training. Your students place a higher value on their diplomas and your employer values your training more. These certificates also serve as a standard by which employers or potential employers may judge the training an employee has received from an STS.
When the STS teaches any course he/she will submit a report to NASP with the student information from that course. Those students will be entered into the NASP database so that they can be verified at any time by a potential employer or other person. NASP will then issue the certificates/diplomas and/or pocket cards. These will be sent directly to the STS who will then distribute them to the students. You may want to issue a simple course completion certificate to your students at the end of the course for them to use until they get the formal NASP document(s). The cost of this labor on the NASP staff is $10.00 per student. The STS will download this online form (click here) for each course they teach and fill in the student information. Once payment is made by paypal the form should be emailed training@NASPWeb.com. The certificate has preprinted the name of the course, the student’s name, and: "The National Association of Safety Professionals Certified Trainer, whose signature and certification number appear below, hereby certifies that the above named did attend and satisfactorily complete the course of study herein named.", the bottom of the certificate has blank areas in which the trainer enters their signature and certification number.
