Master Safety Administrator Certification Diploma Program (MSA)
Graduates are certified by IASP or NASP as a "Master Safety Administrator"
The IASP/NASP Certification "Master Safety Administrator" indicates a high level of proficiency and is one of the highest levels of certification offered by the IASP and NASP. Master Safety Administrator level is an indication of a level of proficiency expected of a safety professional who is capable of developing and managing a comprehensive facility wide or corporate safety program. The Master Safety Administrator level is available through a combination of attendance at one NASP 40 hour course (or completion of the Safety Manager/Trainer independent study) and successful completion of IASP/NASP Independent Study certification courses. The Master Safety Administrator certification consists of eight modules. Each of these modules is a certification course or courses that stand alone or may be completed as a component of the MSA.
The eight modules include:
- Certified Safety Administrator (CSA):
- Certified Ergonomics Technician (CET)
- DOT HAZMAT Technician (CDT)
- Prerequisite required- HAZWOPER Training Specialization (HTS)
- Workplace Violence Prevention Specialist (VPS)
- Emergency Management Specialist (SEM)
