HAZWOPER Refresher Independent Study
OSHA required HAZWOPER Refresher Course in independent study format that allows the students to progress at their own pace (or a pace set by the employer) and still have the advantage of a qualified trainer by e-mail. The course includes six videotapes, text that can be downloaded or ordered on CD Rom, and five exercises. If you choose to download the course materials and exercises from our website, the videos will be mailed to you.
This course allows students to work on the course as little as two hours per week until the course objectives are met or to complete the course in as little as one day. The work may be completed at the place of employment or in the convenience of the student's own home.
Please note that this course is general in nature and does not include "hands-on" training. Your training must be site specific in nature and may require "hands-on" training. In addition to this course, the employer is responsible to train areas specific to the workers' assigned duties including any needed "hands-on" training. Please take special note of OSHA's position: "Training under HAZWOPER includes site-specific elements and should also, to some degree, be tailored to workers' assigned duties."
