Environmental Health & Safety Management Specialist Certification Course (EHS)
This independent study is excellent for:
- The New Safety and/or Environmental Manager
- The Experienced Safety and/or Environmental Manager Who Wants an Update
- The Safety and/or Environmental Manager Who Wants to Achieve Certification
This course is designed for the busy professional who desires to improve their knowledge and credentials but has little time for classroom training. This independent study course consists of ten assignments that can be completed at the student's own pace (up to six months) and earns a Professional Certification as an Environmental, Health and Safety Management Specialist (EHS) and a certificate in Environmental, Health and Safety Management. The graduate also qualifies for the Safety Planning Specialist Registration (SPS). Understanding the quagmire of OSHA, EPA, DOT and other applicable regulations can be an overwhelming task.
The Environmental, Health and Safety Management Certification Course clarifies your responsibilities in workplace safety and environmental protection and ensures that you have both the "know how" and the resources to meet those responsibilities.
The ten lessons are DVD and CD based, (hardcopy text optional), and are now newly available via downloads, though we strongly recommend a broadband connection. At the end of each lesson there are exercises to be completed and returned. When all exercises have been completed and returned to, you will receive a final grade and the results will be returned to you along with your certification documentation. You may correct any errors made in any exercise and resubmit them for a second grading if you desire.
One of our EHS students had this to say:
I was an HSE administrative assistant who wanted a better understanding of the environmental regulations. Shortly after applying for this course, the HSE Manager was moved to another department -- and was not replaced. The plant I worked for was purchased by another company so we went through due diligence. When I started this course, I had no idea what lay ahead. But, it truly was a great aid to me in understanding many things during the transition.
It helped in guiding me to information needed to revise an SPCC Plan. I've used it as a guide to conduct PPE Hazard Assessments...revise the Hazcom training material at our plant...and I will continue to use this product as a guide in the coming weeks and months in other areas. Not only have I studied your course -- I've actually been living it!!!
Thanks so much... it's great material.
