The IASP and NASP have 12 professional certifications for you to choose from, but the most vital course to most of our professional certifications is the Safety Manager/Trainer Course. In any one of our Safety Manager/Trainer classes held periodically around the country (or anytime through independent study), you will learn how to best perform as a safety expert, how to avoid civil and criminal liability for accidents and injuries, how to train your employees in ways that will change how they work, and more! Do you need a topical certification?
You do if:
- You want to provide topic-specific training to your employees.
- To reinforce understanding of safety topics prominent in current events, like emergency management.
- You want to gain necessary or valuable education for specialized safety occupations.
NASP serves you, the safety professional, with 29 topical certification courses, both for construction and for general industry. We offer materials on a wide range of different subjects, and many can be bundled together as a part of high-level professional certifications. All of our topical training courses are independent studies, allowing you to work at your own pace for up to six months after you enroll, or longer if you request an extension. Every topical certification course can be purchased either as a download or shipped to you on CD, except for the Environmental Health & Safety Management Specialist course (available on CD or DVD).
i Certified Safety Consultant is a certification that can be achieved via any of the three course combinations listed above.
ii The Safety Auditor course is a prerequisite for the Advanced Safety Professional certification.
